The ePass PKI token is replaced bythe R-301 SIM reader with PKI SIM card. It is exactly the same hardware, but the SIM card can be inserted and extracted.
The Feitian ePass PKI is a USB PKI token, combining a Feitian R-301 hardware (a full CCID hardware) and a sealed Feitian PKI card chip, also known as the FTCOS PK 01c chip. It was designed for GOOZE and free software communities.
Compatible with Windows 32/64bit, Mac OS X leopard/Snow Leopard/Lion, FreeBSD and GNU/Linux.
The Feitian ePass PKI token is probably the best cryptographic token on the market:
The Feitian ePass PKI token is fully recognized by OpenSC free software using legacy pcsc+ccid backend (no need to use OpenCT or any ifhandler proprietary driver for pcsc). Compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and GNU/Linux. Can be used for single logon, VPN, SSL and disc encryption. CAPI and PKCS#11 support, PKCS#15 compliant. Fully compatible with OpenSC.
