On Ubuntu 11.10 you may get problems if you build OpenSC for the ePass2003.
I used the howto from http://www.gooze.eu/howto/smartcard-quickstarter-guide/opensc-installati... but make failed.
The Problem with solution is described at http://www.opensc-project.org/opensc/ticket/399 .
After applying the patch make was succesful.
