Register your location on the map

GOOZE offers the ablity to register your location on a map.
Click on 'View/edit user account.' and 'Edit'.

In order to protect your privacy, we do not collect your complete address.

You only collect:

• Postal code
• City
• State/Province
• Country

You have several choices:

• You may indicate : postal code, city, State/Province and country (or any of those). The geographical system will calculate your approximate coordinates. Unfortunately, this does not work in each country.
• Or you may choose coordinates on a map, near your home.

To validate, click on "Save" button.

WARNING: Do not enter the precise location of your home

Our community map is available on the Internet. Although your profile can only be seen by other CAcert.org members, it is relatively unsecure to publish the location of your home.

If you are using a map, we encourage you to choose a public place in your town: a garden, a civil house or an association.

Do not enter the usual meeting point (example : Pub ABC in London) where you meet other people in a large city. This is useless on a map. In that case, you should better enter nothing.

Try to choose a place relatively near your home. We are dreaming of a world where we could bike or walk to a place a find an assurer.
