Double-Click on CryptoTerm icon
or start CryptoTerm from the startup menu.

In cryptoTerm menu, select Configuration=>SSH.
Click on PKCS#11 devices:

We need to inform CryptoTerm how to use OpenSC PKCS#11 library.
Click on Add button and locate the OpenSC pkcs#11 library.
The library is located in System32/opensc-pkcs11.dll.

Click the Open button to validate.
OpenSC is recognized by CryptoTerm.

Click the Advanced button.
In this dialog, we will be able to generate an RSA key on card:

The RSA key pair will be generated by the chip crypto engine.
The private RSA key will never be displayed, which is the most secure solution.
Our Quickstarter guide explains other solutions, where the RSA key is generated by the computer and transferred to the smarcard.
Click the Generate button. A new dialog is displayed:

Choose the size of your RSA key: 512, 1024 or 2048bit.
In the above example, we create a 2048bit key.
Enter your PIN code and click the Generate button:
Your smarcard/token is now visible, with a key called "mykey":

To extract the public RSA key from your smartcard/token, click on Save button:

Run Textpad and open the public key:

Remember the location of the key.pub file containing your public RSA key.
